During Michael’s 32 year career here at Torrey Pines he has given golf instruction from beginners, collegiate players, accomplished amateurs to high profile professional athletes, celebrities and tour professionals. He has given tens of thousands of lessons with the committed goal to assist all levels, genders and ages of golfers to build, grow, improve and most notably, enjoy their game of golf. While never ceasing to learn, he has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the greatest teachers and players in the game. During his professional career he has been successful in all facets of instruction as a Staff Instructor to the Director of Instruction. He was nominated for the 2016 Player Development Award, 2017 & 2018 Teacher Of The Year Award and is a proud recipient of both the 2018 Horton Smith Award and the 2020 Education Award from the San Diego Chapter of the PGA.
